Professor Anju Sahdev is a Professor of Clinical Diagnostic Imaging, Radiology Consultant and a Director for Research at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, Barts Health, London. She graduated from University of London in 1991, completed her Radiology training at University College London and St Bartholomew’s Hospital, becoming a fellow of Royal College of Radiologists in 1998. Professor Sahdev’s specialties are imaging in oncology, particularly uro-oncology, endocrine adrenal diseases and benign and oncological gynaecological diseases using all imaging modalities. She has authored and co-authored over 100 peer reviewed publications and has authored 23 chapters in clinical and imaging textbooks. She has delivered over 80 lecturers at national and international meetings. She is the senior editor for the reference textbook Husband and Reznek Imaging in Oncology, CRC Press published 2020 and the senior editor for Imaging in Endocrine (in press). She is an associate editor for British Journal Radiology and Cancer Imaging and reviewer for several peer review journals, including Clinical Radiology, American Journal Radiology and Cancer Imaging, and a member of educational subcommittee of International Cancer Imaging Society. She is the gynaecological imaging module lead for UK National i-refer and RITI e-learning programme. She is the current vice president of the International Cancer Imaging Society (ICIS). The society is a charity dedicated to advancing imaging in the management of cancer. It internationally promotes education, collaboration, and drives research in oncological imaging. As the Director for Imaging research she has responsibility for delivering the operations and infrastructure to support imaging within Barts Health clinical trials. She is also a clinical radiation expert and an imaging guardian for North Thames Clinical Research Network. Her personal trial portfolio includes principal investigator and co-investigator for several imaging and vaccine trials.
