Laura Scarborough is a Clinical Nurse Specialist and is the key worker for all patients with gynaecological cancer at The London Clinic. She is the point of contact for patients from diagnosis, through investigations and treatment and beyond. She actively seeks feedback from service users to drive improvements to ensure the best service possible for our patients. Laura says “Working closely with the consultants enables me to have the advanced knowledge to explain every step of your journey in an understandable way and enables me to ensure your questions and concerns are addressed straight away. A key part of my role is assessing and helping to address any signs and symptoms of the cancer, treatments or side effects such as menopause. I am fortunate to work closely with some of the best Gynaecolgical cancer specialist consultants and having a close rapport enables me to support them in providing the highest standard of care to our patients.”
